Definition of TELEPHONE SERVICE:
myfriendinspain offers basic translation services by telephone. It is not an emergency or advice line. No information, advice or opinion shall be given other than the translation from one language to another. It is aimed at basic day to day situations for people experiencing problems with a language barrier and expressely designed to be a QUICK LOW COST solution with call times to be kept to the minimum required by the translation. We will encourage you to hang up!
Costs: The caller will pay 1,21€ per minute from a Spanish landline and 1,57€ from a Spanish mobile phone via their phone bill and will be billed by the second. We make no other charges. Call bundles are available at advertised discounted prices.
Limitations:
The translators are all bilingual in Spainish+other languages but are not doctors, scientists, mechanics etc and hence may come accross some words they are not familiar with for which they may use additional translation systems or dictionaries to check during the call.
Conditions of use of telephone service:
We will not translate insults, arguments or swearing, nor anything of a racist, xenophobic, pornographic-illegal nature, advocating terrorism or any ilegal activity or attacking human rights.
